Solution

Step 1: Steps for division

1 : Divide 100 by 10, i.e, 100÷10

1÷10, which can not be divided

0 is the multiple of 10,which is smaller than 1

Write 0 in hundreds place of quotient and write the product 0 below the hundreds place of dividend, 1-0=1

2 : Bring down 0 along with remainder 1

10÷10=1,

Write 1 in tens place of quotient and write the product 10 below the tens place of dividend, 10-10=0

3 : Bring down 0

0÷10=0,

0 is the multiple of 10

Write 0 in ones place of quotient and write the product 0 below the ones place of dividend, 0-0=0

we get,

HTO01010100-010-1000-000

Hence, the required quotient is 10 and remainder is 0

Step 2: Verification

Dividend=Divisor×Quotient+Remainder100=10×10+0100=100+0100=100

Hence, the result is verified.
