Solution

Step 1: Dividing 108 by 6

The steps involved in division are:

Step-1 : Divide 6 hundreds by 1,

1÷6, which can not be divided

0 is the multiple of 6,

Write 0 in the hundreds place of the quotient and write product 0, below the dividend in the hundreds place. 1-0=1

Step-2 : Bring down 0 , along with 1

10÷6, which can not be divided

6 is the multiple of 6,

Write 1 in the tens place of the quotient and write product 6, below the dividend in the tens place. 10-6=4

Step-3 : Bring down 8, along with 4

48÷6=8,

48 is the multiple of 6,

Write 8 in the ones place of the quotient and write 48 below the dividend in ones place. 48-48=0
