$\therefore \pi r^2=55.44$

$\Rightarrow r^2=55.44\times \frac{7}{22}$

$\Rightarrow r=\sqrt{2.52\times 7}$

$\Rightarrow r=\sqrt{17.64}=4.2m$

Therefore,

Circumference of circle $=2\pi r=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 4.2=26.4m$
