Find the radius of the circle, where the diameter of the circle is 27cm?

Finding the radius of the circle

Diameter is the chord passing through the centre of the circle, diameter is twice the radius of the circle.

So, radius is half of the diameter.

Diameter=2×radius

radius=diameter÷2

=27÷2 (diameter=27cmgiven)

=13.5cm

Hence, the radius of the circle is 13.5cm.
