We have to find the ratio of 30 minutes to 1 hour

Now, ratio of 30 minutes to 1 hour = Ratio of 30 minutes to 60 minutes

$\Rightarrow$ 30 minutes : 1 hour = 30 minutes : 60 minutes
(0.5 mark)

= $\frac{30}{60} = \frac{1}{2} = 1 : 2$
