Find the ratio of the following in simplist form.

As we know, $1$m $=100$ cm

So, $1.5$ m $=1.5\times 100=150$ cm.

Now ratio of $90$ cm to $1.5$ m can be written as $\frac{90\mathrm{cm}}{150\mathrm{cm}}$

$=\frac{2\times 3\times 3\times 5}{2\times 3\times 5\times 5}$

$=\frac{3}{5}$ or $3:5$

Hence, ratio of $90$ cm to $1.5$m $=3:5$.
