⇒ 1.5 m = 1.5 × 100 cm = 150 cm

∴ Ratio of the second quantity (150 cm) to the first quantity (90 cm)$=\frac{\mathrm{Second}\mathrm{quantity}}{\mathrm{First}\mathrm{quantity}}$

$$\begin{gathered} =\frac{150}{90} \\ =\frac{150÷30}{90÷30} \\ =\frac{5}{3} \\ =5:3 \end{gathered}$$
