=(1+icosθ)(1+2icosθ)(12icosθ)(1+2icosθ)
=1+2icosθ+icosθcos2θ1+4cos2θ(i21)
=1+3icosθ2cos2θ1+4cos2θ
Separating real and imaginary parts.
=12cos2θ1+4cos2θ+i3cosθ1+4cos2θ
for purely real number imaginary part = 0
=3cosθ1+4cos2θ=0
cosθ=0
Thus
θ=nπ2
where n = 1,3,5,7.....
