To compare two unlike fractions, we need to make them like fractions first. So multiply 4 in both numerator and denominator of 1st fraction i.e $\frac{2\times 4}{3\times 4}$ = $\frac{8}{12}$ and similarly in $\frac{3}{4}$ we need to multiply by 3 to make the denominator as 12 i.e $\frac{3\times 3}{4\times 3}$ = $\frac{9}{12}$
Hence we can now compare the numerator of both the fractions as the denominator is the same for both of them.
Here, $\frac{8}{12}$ < $\frac{9}{12}$
Hence, $\frac{2}{3}$ < $\frac{3}{4}$
