Find the remainder when x3+3x2+3x+1 is divided by
x+π

Open in App
Solution

Dividing x3+3x2+3x+1 by x+π
So, x3+3x2+3x+1 is dividend and x+1 is divisor.
Put, x+π=0
x=π
Let p(x)=x3+3x2+3x+1
Putting x=π
p(π)=(π)3+3(π)2+3(π)+1
=π3+3π23π+1
Thus, reminder of p(π)=π3+3π23π+1.
We will get reminder as π3+3π23π+1 when x3+3x2+3x+1 is divided by x+π.
