Here $a = 2, b = 5, c = 3$

$∴ a + c = b,$ means the roots are $- 1$ and $\frac{- 3}{2}$

$2 x^{2} + 5 x + 3 = 0$

$\Rightarrow 2 x^{2} + 2 x + 3 x + 3 = 0$

$\Rightarrow 2 x (x + 1) + 3 (x + 1) = 0$

$\Rightarrow (x + 1) (2 x + 3) = 0$

$\Rightarrow x = - 1, \frac{- 3}{2}$
