We need to find two numbers whose product is 6 and whose sum is -5.

We see that product of -2 and -3 is 6 and sum is -5. So, lets use these numbers.

So, 2x25x+3=0

2x22x3x+3=0

2x(x1)3(x1)=0

(2x3)(x1)=0

2x3=0 or x1=0

x=32 or x=1

32 and 1 are the roots of the quadratic equation 2x25x+3=0.
