2x27x+3=0

On comparing this equation with ax2+bx+c=0, we get
a = 2, b = -7 and c = 3

By using quadratic formula, we get,

x=b±b24ac2a

x=7±724×2×32×2

x=7±49242×2

x=7±254

x=7±54

x=7+54 , x=754

x=124 , 24

x=3 , 12
