Given equation is 3x2-5x-12=0.

According to the Sridharacharya formula, for a given equation ax2+bx+c, the roots of this equation are given by

x=-b±b2-4ac2a

From the given equation we have,

a=3,b=-5,c=-12

Step 2: Determine the roots of the equation

The roots of the equation are,

x=5±(-5)2-(4)(3)(-12)2(3)

=5±25+1446

=5±1696

=5±136

=3,-43

Hence, the roots of the equation are 3 and -43.
