Solution

Step 1:

Given: Mass of two massive particles

m1=5×10-3kgm2=5×10-3kg

Force =6.66dyne

Step 2:

According to Newton's Gravitational force

F=Gm1m2r2(1)

Step 3: We have to find the distance between two massive particles.

Step 4: Solution

put the values in the equation (1) from the given data

6.66×10-5=6.67×10-11×5×10-3×5×10-3r2

r2=6.67×10-11×5×10-3×5×10-36.66×10-5

By solving it, we get

r2=25×10-12m

So, r=5×10-6m

We can write it r=5μm

Hence, the separation between two massive particles is 5μm
