$=3+\frac{3}{12}=\frac{13}{4}yeasrs$

$S.I.=\frac{P\times R\times T}{100}$

$S.I.=\frac{4000\times 7.5\times \frac{13}{4}}{100}$

$S.I.=Rs975$

Then, amount is

$A=\left(P-S.I.\right)=\left(4000-975\right)$

$=3025Rupees$
