Solution

A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.

Sum of digits =8+3+2+5=18 which is already divisible by 3.

If 0 is added then sum is0+8+3+2+5=18 which is divisible by 3.

So, 0 is the smallest digit so that the number formed is divisible by given divisor.

If 9 is added then sum is 9+8+3+2+5=27 which is divisible by 3.

and 9 is the greatest digit so that the number formed is divisible by given divisor.
