The correct option is A

(4,1)


Given that,
2x+4y=12
2x=124y
x=124y2
x=62y .................(i)

Now putting this value of x in the second equation,
4x+2y=18,
we get:

4(62y)+2y=18
248y+2y=18
6y=6

Thus, y=1

Now, putting this value of y in equation (i), we get,
x=62(1)
x=4
