Given , the linear equation is $\frac{2 x}{5} = 14____________(1)$
Multiplying $5$ on the both side of the given equation , we get
$\Rightarrow \frac{2 x}{5} \times 5 = 14 \times 5$
$\Rightarrow 2 x = 70$
Dividing by $2$ on both the side , we get
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{70}{2}$
$\Rightarrow x = 35$
So, the required solution of the equation is $x = 35$ .
Check :- Putting $x = 35$ in the given equation $(1)$ ,
LHS $= \frac{2 \times 35}{5}$
$= 14$
Since, LHS $=$ RHS $=$ $14$
Hence, solution is verified.
