Find the solution of the following equations . Also , verify your answer .

$\left(2x+4\right)=\left(x+9\right)$ .

Given , the linear equation is $\left(2x+4\right)=\left(x+9\right)-------\left(1\right)$

$\Rightarrow 2x-x=9-4$

$\Rightarrow x=5$

So, the required solution of given equation is $x=5$ .

Check :- Putting $x=5$ in the equation $\left(1\right)$, we get

LHS $=2\times 5+4$

$=10+4$

$=14$

RHS $=5+9$

$=14$

Since, LHS $=$ RHS $=$ $14$

Hence, solution $x=5$ is satisfy the given equation .
