Find the solution of the following equations . Also , verify your answer .

$\left(2x+5\right)=\left(9x-8\right)$

Given , the linear equation is $\left(2x+5\right)=\left(9x-8\right)---------\left(1\right)$

$\Rightarrow 2x-9x=-8-5$

$\Rightarrow -7x=-13$

$\Rightarrow 7x=13$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{13}{7}$

So, the required solution of given equation is $x=\frac{13}{7}$ .

Check :- Putting $x=\frac{13}{7}$ in the equation $\left(1\right)$, we get

LHS $=2\times \frac{13}{7}+5$

$=\frac{26}{7}+5$

$=\frac{26+35}{7}$

$=\frac{61}{7}$

RHS $=9\times \frac{13}{7}-8$

$=\frac{117-56}{7}$

$=\frac{61}{7}$

Since, LHS $=$ RHS $=$ $\frac{61}{7}$

Hence, solution $x=\frac{13}{7}$ is satisfy the given equation .
