Find the solutions of the following equations
$2 x + 3 y = 12$
$5 x - 3 y = 30$

$2 x + 3 y - 12 = 0 \dots (1) 5 x - 3 y = 30 \dots (2) (1) + (2) 7 x - 42 = 0 7 x = 42 x = \frac{42}{7} x = 6$
Put it in $(1)$
$2 (6) + 3 y = 12 12 + 3 y = 12 3 y = 0 y = 0$
