(2) Square of 1.12 = (1.12)2
= 1.12 × 1.12 = 1.2544

(3) Square of 0.09 = (0.09)2
= 0.09 × 0.09 = 0.0081

(4) Square of (–0.01) = (–0.01)2
(–0.01 × –0.01)
= 0.0001 (Square of a negative number is always positive)

(5) Square of 0.7 = (0.7)2
= 0.7 × 0.7 = 0.49

(6) Square of (– 2.16) = (–2.16)2
= (–2.16 × –2.16)
= 4.6656 (Square of a negative number is always positive)

(7) Square of (– 5.13) = (–5.13)2
