Let $α, β$ be the zeroes of the polynomial $7 x^{2} + 5 x - 2$ .
Then $α, β$ be the roots of the quadratic equation $7 x^{2} + 5 x - 2 = 0$ .
Then from the relation between roots and co-efficients of quadratic equation we've,
$α + β = - \frac{5}{7}$ and $α . β = - \frac{2}{7}$ .
