## Given$$\dfrac{4}{9} + \dfrac{8}{9}$$$$=\dfrac{4+8}{9}$$  (on taking $$9$$ as L.C.M of the denominator)$$=\dfrac{12}{9}$$$$=\dfrac{4}{3}$$  (on dividing both numerator and denominator by $$3$$)$$\therefore \dfrac{4}{9} + \dfrac{8}{9}=\dfrac{4}{3}$$$$=1\dfrac{1}{3}$$Mathematics
