Then, $5\frac{5}{3}+7\frac{5}{2}$

= $\frac{20}{3}+\frac{19}{2}$ (LCM of 2 and 3 is 6)

=$\frac{40+57}{6}=\frac{97}{6}=16\frac{1}{6}$
