Atomicity is the total number of atoms present in 1 molecule of a substance. The atomicity of nitrogen is 2 as N2 molecule contains 2 atoms. The atomicity of phosphorus is 4 as P4 molecule contains 4 atoms. Hence, the sum of the atomicity of nitrogen and phosphorus molecule is 2+4=6.
