Atomicity is the total number of atoms present in 1 molecule of a substance. The atomicity of nitrogen is 2 as $N_{2}$ molecule contains 2 atoms. The atomicity of phosphorus is 4 as $P_{4}$ molecule contains 4 atoms. Hence, the sum of the atomicity of nitrogen and phosphorus molecule is $2 + 4 = 6$ .
