First term =12
last term =40

The sum of n terms of arithmetic sequence can be calculated by the formula Sn=n2(a1+an)
Where n is the number of terms, a1 is the first term and an is the last term.

Here, n=32

S32=322(12+40)
=16(12+40)

Hence, the sum of the first 32 terms is 832
