Open in App
Solution

Given that, radius of a hemisphere =4.5 cm
To find out: Surface area and volume of the hemisphere.

We know that, the surface area of a hemisphere is 3πr2

Surface area =3×227×(4.5)2[ π=227]
1336.57
Surface area =190.93 cm2

We also know that, volume of a hemisphere is 23πr3
Volume =23×227×(4.5)3[ π=227]
40009.521
Volume =190.93 cm3

Hence, the surface area of the given hemisphere is 190.93 cm2 and its volume is 190.93 cm3.
