The correct option is C 50 N
The FBDs of the masses are as shown
Let the direction of the acceleration be as shown in the figure

So, from the FBDs we have,
T2=3a............(i)
And, T1T2=2a.................(ii)
From eq (i) & (ii) we have
T1=5a.............(iii)
Also, 100T1=5a............(iv)
from eq (iii) & (iv) we have
100=10aa=10 m/s2
Thus, T1=5aT1=5×10=50 N

Alternate:

Acceleration of the system is given by,
a=Supporting ForceTotal mass=10010=10 m/s2


From the FBD of 5 Kg, we have
100T1=5a
T1=1005(10)=50 N
