The correct option is C $8$ years
Simple Interest $I = \frac{P N R}{100}$
Given,
$A = R s . 1536$
$P = R s . 1200$
$I = A - P = 1536 - 1200 = R s . 336$
$R = 3.5$ %
So, $336 = \frac{1200 \times N \times 3.5}{100}$
$=> N = 8$ years
