Alternation current (i) is
i=i0sinω(1)
i0=peakvalueofcurrent

Root mean square value of current (irms) is
irms=i02

Now,

Substituting the value of the root mean square value of current in place of alternating current in equation (1)

Get,

i02=i0sinωt12=sinωt=sinπ4π4=ωtt=π4ω=π4×2πf(ω=2πf)=18f=18×50=1400=0.0025s
