Printed price of the article $= R S .45000$
Discount $= 5 % \times R s .45000 = R s . 2250$
Cost price for the customer $= R s .45000 - R s .2250 = R s .42750$
Tax paid by the customer $= 12 % \times R s .42750 = R s .5130$
Total amount paid by the customer inclusive of tax $= R s .42750 + R s .5130 = R s .47880$
