The correct option is A

8 Ω


The two resistors of 4 Ω are connected in parallel. Therefore the equivalent resistance RP of the two resistors will be 1Rp=14+14
Rp=4×44+4
Rp=2 Ω.
Now this combination of parallel resistance of value Rp=2 Ω is in series with the 6 Ω resistor. Therefore the equivalent resistance of the combination Req=Rp+Rs or,
equivalent resistance Req=2 Ω+6 Ω=8 Ω
