The correct option is A

(1, 2)


Given that,
x + 2y - 5 = 0.....(1)

7x + 3y -13 = 0....(2)

Multiplying (1) with 7 we get

7x + 14y = 35

Subtracting (2) from (1) we get

​​​​​​​ 11y = 22​​​​​​​
y = 2

Plugging in the value of y in (1): we getx + 2(2) = 5​​​​​​​
x = 1

Hence x = 1 and y = 2
