BODMAS principle explains the order of operations to solve an expression. BODMAS stands for Bracket, Of (powers and roots), Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.
If all the operations in the expression are the same level (like all addition or all multiplication), simply work from left to right.
Now, the given expression is
$2 \times 4 + 8 + 0$
According to BODMAS rule, solve multiplication first,
$2 \times 4 + 8 + 0 = 8 + 8 + 0$

Now, all operations are addition, solve from left to right
$8 + 8 + 0 = 16 + 0 = 16$
