(12)a+(12)b=3 ------- (1)
a+2b=23 ------ (2)
From equation 1:
a2+b2=3
a+b=6
b=6a
Substitute the value of b in equation 2:
a+2b=23
a+2(6a)=23
a+122a=23
a=2312
a=(236)3
a=343
a=343
Now, Substitute a=343 in equation 1:
a+2b=23
343+2b=23
(34+6b)3=23
34+6b=2
6b=234
6b=32
b=163
Therefore the solution is: a=343 and b=163
