Solution

Step 1: Given Data :

Mass of the moon(M) = 7.35×1022Kg

The radius of moon, R =1.74×106m

Universal gravitational constant = 6.67×10-11

we need to calculate Acceleration due to gravity(g).

Step 2: Formula used :
g=GMR2

Step 3: Calculating gravitational force :

g=6.67×10-11×7.35×1022(1.74×106)2=1.62m/s2

Hence, acceleration due to gravity(g) is 1.62m/s2.
