When we subtract this given angle from ${90}^{\circ }$, the value of this complementary angle is same as that angle.

Let angle be x. So complementary angle of $x={90}^{\circ }-x.$

$\Rightarrow x+x={90}^{\circ }$

$\Rightarrow 2x={90}^{\circ }$

$\Rightarrow x={45}^{\circ }$

The angle which is complementary to itself is $x={45}^{\circ }$.
