The correct option is A zero
From the property of cell, the current leaving the positive terminal will always return back to it through its negative terminal.

Thus, the current supplied by battery will not enter the 2 Ω resistor because it is an electrically open path & current won't return back, once it goes in that branch.

The current supplied by battery will only prevail in the respective closed loops.

Hence, option (a) is correct.
Why this question ?
Tip: The charge supplied by the positive terminal of a cell will have to enter its negative terminal so that a constant potential difference is maintained across the terminals of the battery always. Hence, current entering & leaving the terminals of battery will be always equal.
