Find the value of : $\frac{2}{5} + \frac{1}{5}$

Add fraction with same denominators:
To add fractions with a common denominators ,find the sum of the numerators and keep the common denominator.
$\begin{array}{rcl} \frac{2}{5} + \frac{1}{5} & = & \frac{2 + 1}{5} \\ = & \frac{3}{5} \end{array}$
Therefore the sum of given fractions is $\frac{3}{5}$
