Slope of line (1)=coefficientofxcoefficientofy=3k=3k
Given:4xy3=0 .......(2)
Slope of line (2)=coefficientofxcoefficientofy=41=4
As the lines (1) and (2) are perpendicular, the product of their slopes=1
3k×4=1
12k=1
12=k
k=12
