Then, the area from these points is equal to zero.

We know that the area of the triangle of vertices x1,y1,x2,y2,andx3,y3 is given by the formula

=12x1(y2-y3+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)

Step 2: Finding the area of a triangle:

=1236-152+m(152-5)+12(5-6)

12-92+5m2-12=0

5m2-102=0

5m-10=0

m=2

Hence, the value of m is 2.
