The correct option is C $\frac{- 5 \sqrt{2}}{6}$
$a = t, b = 2 \sqrt{3}, c = - 5 \sqrt{8}$
Product of roots $= \frac{c}{a} = 12$
$= \frac{- 5 \sqrt{8}}{t} = 12$
$t = \frac{- 5 \sqrt{8}}{12} = \frac{- 5 \sqrt{2}}{6}$
