The correct option is C (1, -1)
2xy=3 ----- (1)
4x+y=3 ----- (2)
First use formula for cross multiplication method:
xb1c2b2c1=yc1a2a1c2=1a2b2a2b1
So, from equation (1) and (2) we can write the value of a, b and c.
x(1)×3(1)×3=y3×42×3=12×(1)4×(1)
x33=y126=12+4
x6=y6=16
x6=16
x=66=1
y6=16
y=66
y=1
The solution is (1, -1)
