The correct option is D (5,7)
3x+4y=43 ----- (1)
2x+3y=11 ----- (2)
First use formula for cross multiplication method:
xb1c2b2c1=yc1a2a1c2=1a2b2a2b1
So, from equation (1) and (2) we can write the value of a, b and c.
x4×113×43=y43×(2)3×11=13×3(2)×4
x44129=y8633=19+8
x85=y119=117
x85=117
x=8517=5
y119=117
y=11917=7
The solution is (5,7)
