The correct option is D (-2, -1)
3x5y=1 ----- (1)
x+2y=4 ----- (2)
First use formula for cross multiplication method:
xb1c2b2c1=yc1a2a1c2=1a2b2a2b1
So, from equation (1) and (2) we can write the value of a, b and c.
x(5)×(4)2×(1)=y(1)×13×(4)=13×21×(5)
x20+2=y1+12=16+5
x22=y11=111
x22=111
x=2211=2
y11=111
y=1111
y=1
The solution is (-2, -1)
