The correct option is C (5,3)
4x+3y=29 ----- (1)

6x+3y=39 ----- (2)

First use formula for cross multiplication method:

xb1c2b2c1=yc1a2a1c2=1a2b2a2b1

So, from equation (1) and (2) we can write

x3×393×29=y29×64×39=14×36×3

x11787=y174156=11218

x30=y18=16

x30=16

x=306=5

y18=16

y=186=3

Thus the required solution is (5,3)
