The correct option is B (6,1)
5x+2y=32 ----- (1)
6x+6y=42 ----- (2)
First use formula for cross multiplication method:
xb1c2b2c1=yc1a2a1c2=1a2b2a2b1
So, from equation (1) and (2) we can write the value of a, b and c.
x2×426×32=y32×65×42=15×66×2
x84192=y192210=13012
x108=y18=118
x108=118
x=10818=6
y18=118
y=1818=1
The solution is (6, 1)
