The correct option is B (2,5)
5x+y=15 .....(1)
2x+6y=34 ....(2)
First use formula for cross multiplication method:
xb1c2b2c1=yc1a2a1c2=1a2b2a2b1
So, from equation (1) and (2), we can write the value of a, b and c.
Thus x1×346×15=y15×25×34=15×62×1
x3490=y30170=1302
x56=y140=128
x56=128
x=5628=2
y140=128
y=14028=5
The solution is (2,5).
